Irv Docktor Artist, Photographer, WWII Vet, Art Teacher

Irv Docktor Transitioned February 14, 2008 suddenly. He had taught art at the Fort Lee Senior Center 3 days before and finished two works of art the week before he died, so he followed his passion right up to 89.5 years old!
Check out these websites:
B.Docktor also has several Irv related websites: http://bdocktor.com/irvdocktor   and

 http://bdocktor.com/momdad.

Michael Sloan an artist with a beautiful blog has some of my sister B. Docktor's website incorporated into his to disperse the information to his artist friends:

We will list eMail responses that the three siblings Mark, Paul and Barbara Docktor have received in response to B's posting 65 works of art chronologically arranged.
Some of Irv's exhaustive art book collection has been donated to Rutgers Newark Dana Library. He may have an extensive retrospective show there along with Pablo Davis and Jake Landau, called the Chadd's Ford Group, all having attended the Philadelphia College of Art.
A smaller exhibit will be up at the entry to the Dana Library later this month. I will post the exact date.
Please use this blog as a digital eulogy, and electronic shiva
